About the role
In this role you will:
- Work directly with farm businesses across Devon
- Support business planning, funding applications, and decision-making
- Provide guidance on schemes such as SFI and Countryside Stewardship
- Help clients move from advice through to implementation and measurable outcomes
- Deliver workshops, attend shows, and represent ND+ across the sector
This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on delivering real outcomes for businesses, with opportunities to support the development of ND+’s agricultural services over time.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience advising farm or rural businesses
- Strong understanding of agricultural funding and policy
- Confidence working directly with clients
- Ability to manage a varied workload and deliver to deadlines
This role could suit someone working as an agricultural advisor, consultant, or within the wider rural sector.
Key details
- Salary: £35,412 – £39,152 (depending on experience)
- Location: Home-based with travel across Devon
- Hours: 37 per week
- Contract: Permanent
