We’re Hiring! Agricultural Business Advisor (Devon)

ND+ (North Devon+) is looking for an experienced Agricultural Business Advisor to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with farmers across Devon—supporting them to navigate change, access funding, and build more resilient and sustainable futures.

About the role

In this role you will:

• Work directly with farm businesses across Devon
• Support business planning, funding applications, and decision-making
• Provide guidance on schemes such as SFI and Countryside Stewardship
• Help clients move from advice through to implementation and measurable outcomes
• Deliver workshops, attend shows, and represent ND+ across the sector

This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on delivering real outcomes for businesses, with opportunities to support the development of ND+’s agricultural services over time.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience advising farm or rural businesses
• Strong understanding of agricultural funding and policy
• Confidence working directly with clients
• Ability to manage a varied workload and deliver to deadlines

This role could suit someone working as an agricultural advisor, consultant, or within the wider rural sector.

• Salary: £35,412 – £39,152 (depending on experience)
• Location: Home-based with travel across Devon
• Hours: 37 per week
• Contract: Permanent
• Closing date: 5pm, Friday 17 July 2026
